relishing>> A Perfect Circle - Imagine  The Sungei Gedong roadshow marked my debut performance with the Music & Drama Company. My first showing was nothing mind-blowing (on the contrary it was um, error-strewn) but it definitely was a tremendous experience, nothing quite like any of the gigs or shows I've done before. Being thrown onstage moving, dancing alongside some wonderfully talented and seasoned performers was like a baptism of fire to new artistes like myself. I was shocked, seriously. I have never danced before in my life and there I was, moving in front of innumerous pairs of eyes scrutinizing my every step. Thankfully, the presence and guidance of several senior artistes certainly helped dispel almost-overwhelming feelings of trepidation I had prior to the performance. Surely, tonight taught me alot about performing arts. It's not as easy as it seems. Brilliant showmen are made of a combination of talent and commitment, and a platform for them to grow and flourish.
