Thursday, May 20, 2004 relishing>> The Verve - Bittersweet Symphony (James Lavelle remix) Many apologies for the lack of updates. Been caught up with graduation project work, band stuff, the fucking cat and larlarlar. ALRIGHT I was just lazy to update are you happy now? Okay so here's a really good crappy one to make up for everything. Due to the rubberducking weather I am very sick at present and lately I've been waking up in the middle of the night, perturbed by the most peculiar issues. Stuff i normally wouldn't dwell upon so extensively. Aimless thoughts revolving around the chocolate third in neapolitan ice cream and dinoporn (dinosaur porn, now what a great way to lose your appetite) and how I used to be an illustrious sperm who got the prenetration nod ahead of all my um, horny, genetically-charged counterparts. And. Wait, I'm not even sure if I woke up at all to mull over these stuff. Lucid dreaming. That's what I'm talking about. Before you can say "how can a clam cram in a clean cream can?" (which is a long time because I took forever to perfect that), I already reckon everyone has experienced it at least once in his/her life. I have discerned possible causes for my strange, recent, personal phenomenon. It could be the fever, insomnia or simply the fact that I'm currently the most unoccupied man on earth after school ended a while ago. Now whatever it's attributed to, it's amazing. It's a state of dreaming where you could almost consciously involve yourself in your own reverie and it's more engaging than any role-playing game, more exciting than any 3d-shooter, more real than anything else in the world, well almost. To this point I'm sure half of you would go "what the FUCK is he talking about?". I'm not quite sure about it myself so let's take a look at what it factually is, according to DreamMoods.com: Lucid Dreaming Lucid dreams occurs when you realize you are dreaming in the middle of your dream. "Wait a second. This is only a dream!" Most dreamers wake themselves up once they realize that they are only dreaming. Other dreamers have cultivated the skill to remain in the lucid state of dreaming. They become an active participant in their dream, make decisions in their dreams and influence the dream's outcome without awakening. The power of thought and the human mind requires no introduction and dreaming, thinking half-fuckin'-awake could be the priceless basis for unlocking even the sturdiest of psychological barriers. Because when you are in control of your own dreams, the possibilities are limitless. Escape dark hallways of mystery with keys to all their doors. Dodge the boulders of doubt and peril with the ease of freefall. Swim through a fictional ocean with schools and shoals of "what if"s. "What if vegetables all had a plan to eliminate the human race?", "What if we all lived in an almost completely female-dominated world like lions, hyennas do?", "What if the world were to use too much machina Sin's gonna eat us up 10 years from now". I know I sound like I'm writing this on weed but I'm not. LSD, magic mushrooms, weed and whatnot. For me, the best trip resides in Imagination. I could write a whole essay of crap on this but this is but a blog. Lucid dreaming/ Psychedelic trip/ Deep musing. Whatever you might call it. It's fucking cool. And yknow it would be so perfect if I could translate these priceless thoughts of mine into a mini-slideshow or something........ rayve said @ 7:01 AM |
