relishing>> Dishwalla - Opaline

Richard Schneider

Yes, as you might have observed, I have a new layout. Nothing different from the previous one, just the picture. I must admit I got super bored halfway through doing the image and I figured it's partially due to sad limitations in my graphic designing abilities. Wish I had paid more attention during Photoshop classes last year.

I absolutely love this song. Opaline. It's really beautiful, in both musical and lyrical aspects. Though I can't exactly interpret what it's describing, I like the whole metaphoric idea of having an opaline object, like a prism, represent something else. A prism and its iridescent rays signifying fascination and/or diversity in a person. yknow just like how "Beanz Meanz Heinz" provides the perfect slogan for Heinz Baked Beans, if I make any sense. No wait I don't. That was highly irrelevant but what the fuck.

And I also think themed parties are way fucking cool, why don't they have 'em over here in Singapore?

Summer dies here and so could I somewhere underneath
Where the ground is made of stars and everything unclean
Your opaline is everything I see
Your opaline brings me to my knees
