Sunday, March 14, 2004 relishing>> The Getaway People - She Gave Me Love Got pretty stoned from all that tequila last night. It's bizarre I can't recall a thing apart from my miserable attempt to perform a cartwheel outside O-Bar. And the repulsive music at Liquid Room. Well I was in a state of semi-reverie and almost drowsing off on the morning ride home when I witnessed this apparent psychopath poking fun at an ordinary-looking Indian man. The demented individual was an outlandish middle-aged Chinese dude clad in soiled, scruffy clothes and he really looked like he could use a bath. A psychopath who needs a bath. But anyway he was pointing at Indian man's forehead and going hysterically like "Hahaha YOU! YOU! Hahahhahah!", much to the latter's annoyance. "What you laughing at mad man?!" came the swift and irate reaction from the Indian man, obviously incensed by the shocking provocation. The both of them engaged in a comical mini-wrangle before the psycho finally got off the bus. I was amused and absolutely clueless on what the fuck the crazy chump was laughing about, whatever it was he sure found it goddamn hilarious. It was interesting to note how animosity was ignited due to a mere case of misinterpretation (I mean they didn't have an idea what each other was talking about) and probably a clash of mental dispositions, just like how two people with dissimilar perspectives and attitudes misunderstand and scorn each other. Through my in-depth albeit random musing upon the matter I deduced it isn't about someone/something being right/wrong anymore. It's more like how well people accept and make sense of others and their actions. Even the most noble of intentions could be underappreciated without a proper mode of communication and having people to understand you blablablabla..... And nah actually all that was crap I was just trying very hard come up with my first meaningful entry in a long time. And I need to find my passport really soon. But you could stay a while, you and I could get funky To the rhythm of the choo-choo-train Dancin' in the pourin' rain I found myself in the most beautiful situation A feeling I can't describe So I forget my destination And I pray, can you make a late cancellation? rayve said @ 5:20 PM |
