Thursday, June 05, 2003 time/ location: 3.15am/ Jaesen's listening to: Guns 'N' Roses - Sweet Child Of Mine The Faber House Park gig between Lunchbox and our own band turned out to be somewhat of a disaster. I was a bundle of nerves on that scary stage, tuning on Gabe's bass was out, Dan's guitar sound stopped twice in front of reasonably ample crowd,it was pretty much catastrophic stuff. Well strangely instead of being brought down by disappointment, I've taken a rather positive attitude towards the performance this time round. In fact, I am extremely excited at the really challenging prospect of progressing as a band, working on our faults. I'm just really really satisfied that Turn The Tap actually featured onstage together for the very first time, albeit as the closing band! I firmly believe we can sound ten, one thousand times better than how we did at Faber House today. I mean come on I've heard it in the studios and shit, as witnessed in our first original composition, potential in clearly evident in our music and we intend to work on that to make this group of ours work! Just watch out for us on the 15th. One-hour set, I give you my word we'll be ready for that! rayve said @ 3:26 AM |
