without you I am nothing without you I can't believe this gilded place has everything but this comfort is not what it seems it is not what it seems in between is everything I need Decided to give today's Zouk party a miss, been insanely busy lately with all the stuff surounding the band. Turn The Tap was initially scheduled to feature in gigs on the 3rd, 15th, 21st and 29th of this month. But now with all the time constraints and busy schedules it's such a huge pity to concede that we're gonna give the first one a miss. Instead of the full band playing on that day, plans have been etched for another collaboration between us and the old Lunchbox band, who are possibly more geared up for the gig with substantial material of their own. I will be on vocals for Lunchbox and Dan could be asked to fill in the bass guitarist's role on 3rd June. Tentative Line-up: Vox - Rayve Lead Guitar - Rudi Rhythmn Guitar - Jon Bass Guitar - Daniel? They've got this live band there that totally BLEW us away man. It was mad music, the band was sublime. Being a vocalist myself, I was most fucking impressed with the band's singer, Gilbert. He was just awesome, easily one of the best that I have ever seen. Versatility, power, volume, flair - put all these fundamental vocal elements together and you might just get a slight hint of how his voice sounds like. His pitch range is so diverse that he can effortlessly maneuver his voice to suit the mellow deep tone of Scott Tapp or the screaming sharp notes that Axel Rose reaches. He's brilliant alright. I've finally found an inspirational role model. Been searching for a singer to look up to, someone who's been through so much being a vocalist, someone whom I can obtain advice from and talk to, face-to-face type of interaction. I'm certain we have plenty to talk about. An enormous kudo goes out to Shane for putting in so much effort on the compilation CD.
