Tuesday, December 10, 2002 What I've got you've got to give it to your mamma What I've got you've got to give it to your pappa What I've got you've got to give it to your daughter You do a little dance and then you drink a little water I watched the RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS Live! in concert at the Singapore Indoor Stadium like 2 days ago. OHMYFUCKINGGAWD. They were absolutely INCREDIBLE! It was easily the best concert I've ever been to. All of 'em were AWESOME. Yes, all four! Frontman Anthony Kiedis was flamboyant and cheeky on the mic. Flea was as usual, at his brilliant best on bass. Chad Smith was keepin' the audience on the edge of their seats with his rollicking drumbeats. But the one that totally mesmerised me and the Lunchbox guys was the sublime John Frusciante. Anthony Kiedis even lavished wholesome praise on his guitarist as he touted Frusciante as the man with the sexiest guitar on earth. His amazing creative innovations on the guitar totally got the front row crowd ecstatic. There was even this half-naked punk who got so crazy he climbed onto the railing of the top terrace and got stopped by the fucked up security guys (WTF!). Besides the impressive prelude tunes to their set list songs, Chad Smith, Flea and Frusciante all had solo sessions. Flea displayed some lightning fingerwork I could swear. Frusciante's tunes sounded soulful and wonderul all night. Still can't get over the concert man. Yeah, I had the time of my life (well, not exactly but I had a great time). Give it away give it away give it away now Give it away give it away give it away now Give it away give it away give it away now I can't tell if I'm a kingpin or a pauper rayve said @ 1:23 AM |
